Start with an inventory
We identify controllers, readers, lock hardware, power supplies, door contacts, network connections, current administrator access, and the condition of each opening. We review account ownership and the steps needed for authorized transfer or service access before making changes.
Common takeover work
- Repair a door that will not lock or unlock consistently
- Replace worn readers, strikes, contacts, or power components
- Clean up access groups, schedules, and administrator permissions
- Add new doors or locations to an existing Brivo organization
- Plan a phased migration from older access control equipment
We recommend reusing sound hardware where it meets the requirements of the new design. A takeover may require coordination with the current account owner or service provider; we will explain that process after reviewing the account and site.
